prompt real life
Prompt is the app that gets you off the feed and into your own life. Send a friend a real prompt, complete the ones sent to you, and build a calendar of what you actually did — not what you liked.
Available on the App Store
Send a prompt
Snap it, sound it, show it, share it — or leave your phone behind entirely with Unplug. Prompt sends straight to their inbox, no algorithm involved.

Your calendar
Every completed prompt lands on your calendar. Watch your completion score build day by day — a history you made, not one a feed curated for you.

Real, not curated
A photo, a reflection, a real moment — tap into any day to see exactly what got done and by whom. Nothing sits in a permanent feed; it lives on the day it happened.

Boards
Start a board for your people — a weekend crew, a book club, a family group — and challenge each other to real prompts, together.
Pick someone, pick a category, write a prompt. It lands straight in their inbox.
Do the thing, then prove it — a photo, a recording, or just an honest reflection.
Every completion lands on your calendar, building a real record over time.
Coming soon to the App Store.

Prompt is a small, early beta. By creating an account you agree to use it in good faith and understand that features, data, and availability may change without notice while it's in this stage.
You're responsible for what you post and for keeping your password to yourself. You must be at least 13 years old to use Prompt. Don't impersonate anyone, harass other users, or post content that's illegal, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights.
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, and text you post. By posting, you give Prompt permission to store and display that content to the other users it's meant for (whoever you sent it to, your followers, or the public, depending on where you posted it).
You can block or report another account or piece of content at any time. We may remove content, suspend, or delete accounts that violate these terms or make the app unsafe for others.
This is beta software provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We'll do our best to keep your data safe and the app running, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability during this stage.
We may update these terms as the product develops. Continuing to use Prompt after a change means you accept the update.

Your username, email, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text). The prompts, photos, videos, captions, boards, and calendars you create. Who you follow and who follows you. If you enable push notifications, the subscription details your browser gives us to deliver them.
To run the app: showing your feed, delivering prompts, notifying you of activity, and enforcing who can send you a prompt based on your own settings. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
A 1:1 prompt and its completion are visible to you and the other person. A board challenge you complete is visible to that board's subscribers. Anything you tag into a public calendar is visible to anyone. Your profile is visible to anyone who looks it up, showing only what you've chosen to add.
You can block another account at any time, which also removes any follow relationship between you. You can delete your account from your profile settings — this removes your personal details and prevents login, though prompts and completions you were part of stay visible to the other people they involved (shown as attributed to a deleted account) rather than disappearing from their history.
Photos and videos you upload are stored on our server, not a third-party host. Passwords are hashed with a per-account salt and never stored or logged in plain text. As a beta product, we can't yet promise the long-term data guarantees of a mature service — export or back up anything irreplaceable yourself.
